Square
I need some help picking a starter for my flex back this week. It is a standard scoring league and I can start WR or RB. All my options are pretty weak to me, so I guess I'll take any advice. Who would you pick? Wali Lundy @ IND LaMont Jordan @ BAL Muhsin Muhammad vs. DET Terry Glenn vs. WAS I'm really leaning towards the WRs this week as I don't expect much output from either of the RBs. Unfortunately I'd call the WR output a toss up. Any advice is appreciated. Thanks, Square
Flypaste
I think Terry Glenn has the best chance for success. Troy Williamson got a step on Carlos Rogers a few times on Monday night, Troy's hands just arent that good. Terry is an excellent receiver and is fast enough to get a step on Rogers, and his hands are better than Troy's. Plus Shawn Springs is still out... Now if Bledsoel can get him the ball you are home free. Please see my psot Edited September 14, 2006 by Flypaste

I was just thinking that Muhsin is the main offensive weapon for Chicago, so I assume he should have a decent output against detroit (who I don't think Chicago can run against well). The questions with Dallas are "if" Bledsoe can pull his head out of his a__ AND "if" he throws to Glenn very often compared to Witten and TO. If Dallas would have had a better week 1, there would be less debate on this. I'm just not sure now that there offense only put up 10 points in their first game and Chicago doesn't have many other people to throw to. I appreciate your input though and I'll likely take it. Square
I guess I'm debating between Muhsin Mohammad and Terry Glenn alone now. Any other opinions/suggestions would be appreciated. Its a tough call from here.
rawbwilsh
Lamont Jordan, you drafted him high for a reason. Stick it out.
Land Thief
Either wideout. I'd probably say Glenn, because I think they'll have to put it in the air more...
Square
Lamont Jordan, you drafted him high for a reason. Stick it out. Heh. I know what you mean and all, but after seeing what the chargers did to Lamont (I think he got 3 points)....I'm not real anxious to put him out in front of a Baltimore team that just shut out Tampa Bay. I still think he may get good points this season....just not this week. I'd say if he had 10 points, it'd be a breakout game for Jordan this week. It is fairly reasonable to assume that both Glenn and Muhsin are capable of at least 7-10 points this week and it wouldn't even be considered an all star day for them. So I'm pretty sure the upside is higher on the WR this week. I'm leaning Glenn, but I may regret it. I'm hoping that Bledsoe does like he did in the preseason by following up a bad game with a great one. We'll just have to see. I appreciate the advice though. Tough one, I would really hate to bench Jordan. He was probably your #1 pick, you can't just panic after 1 game.
ediamonds2001
If I may. Lamont is a raider. That is enough of a reason. Cadillac Williams is much better than Lamont and he got shut done against the ravens. Do you really think Lamont could do any better against them? I think Glenn is the way to go. TO will force attention and if Bledsoe is awake at all glenn is going to get some action.
