PantherDave
I have suffered through enough of Mr. Soft, I truly love the guy's heart and ability when healthy, but his noodle is gone. The hit by NFL standards was pretty much run of the mill. Morgan can just not with stand the regular toils of a very tough and brutal sport. The noodle does not develop a tolerance, but becomes more suspect to dingers with each one suffered. I believe Morgan is at this point and this season most likely will be his swan song, and I look for Carolina to draft a MLB or go after one via FA in the OS, as I feel Morgan could be let go via cut's next TC if he tries to gut it out. If he got his bell rung this past game, then he will get another this year-no question. Danny-boy, it's time to hang'em up, as there is no need to drool on yourself when your 40 yrs old-sad but true as his noodle just can't cut it any longer. alexgaddis
Not to mention playing for an 0-2 team next week...
gilthorp
Dave, It's either the head or his shoulders. I agree with you 100%. Seeing what has happened to Dan Morgan has made me appreciate what Z. Thomas has done for all these years.
Retrograde assault
Good player but way to brittle for football.
Swampnuts
Poor Glass -Jaw Dan. I agree with Dave, this is at least 4 concussions for him, and playing at a high impact position he can't keep putting himself out there. I think he should retire, but I know he wants to play and having just signed the big contract, he may try to get back out there. I saw him in the mall a few months back, and the dude looks like the lights are already out. The guy is a total mouth breather that looks like he could get lost in a closet. But he sure can play the run when he's healthy. It's a huge loss for the Panthers.
hooknladder
I agree PD. You should post this in the IDP...(we could use the traffic). I too took Morgan, (again), and my competetors said "are you crazy?', -"he get's hurt too much!",- but when he's on the field and healthy, he's awsome. Randall
Not to mention playing for an 0-2 team next week... Too bad Carolina didn't keep Spoon instead of Morgan. I wish him well, but concussions get more frequent after you get them a few times. ADDING Dave- Seward and Anderson look good down there, but do you think they will try and get a better MLB in the draft or through trade. Or do you think they like the young guys enough? LooGie
I don't know what it is about the Panthers, but I can deal with them playing bad at home, I can deal with them ALWAYS starting out slow and picking up by mid season. I can even deal with them losing a few game that they're SUPPOSED to win, but I cannot deal with the injuries. It just drives me nuts. I would love to know what causes it, but it just seems like CAR is unlucky when it comes to injuries. Add in Foster's future injury and we're already one of the most injured teams in the NFL. What the cause is they keep resigning the injury prone players and letting the dependable ones go. Oh Marlon McCree and Will Witherspoon, where art thou? Oh Marlon McCree and Will Witherspoon, where art thou? you know, after I hit "submit post" i said out loud "If they wasn't so interested in injury prone beeyotches this would never be a problem" I heard he was even interested in Preist Holmes in the off season if Priest be let go from KC. obviouisly just speculation, but still, I was bashing my head when I heard that. CD6405
Yea, I'm tired of hearing how Kris Jenkins is the best DT in the game...when he is healthy. So I'm guessing he is never going to be the best in the game.

So I'm guessing he is never going to be the best in the game. oh, he'll be the best in the game. Whatever game he's playing in that is. Then next week, hope he'll be in THAT game too. I love the players on CAR, and the heart that they all possess, but I'm so fed up with the injuries. If Jenkins goes down, I'll kill a squirrel. Randall
What the cause is they keep resigning the injury prone players and letting the dependable ones go. Oh Marlon McCree and Will Witherspoon, where art thou? They took a gamble and lost, but have some exciting young players. At the end of the year T Davis, James Anderson and Seward may have you wondering why you doubted them. Sure they make mistakes but have faith in what they are doing too. They are a fine team. If they reload with young guns they won't have to pay them a ton for a few years. In free agency that's how many teams remain on top.
