tonorator
Texans HC Gary Kubiak said Thursday that all active running backs on the Texans roster will likely play on Sunday. He also mentioned that if one of them was on a roll he'd probably play more than the others. makes sense ...

cdrudge
I'm not holding my breath it's not going to become a 3-way RBBC, but I'm also not going to jump to conclusions. All he said was that all 3 running backs will play. He never said how much time or how many carries. For instance, last year for the Colts, James, Mungro, and Rhodes all played, but the latter two had very little fantasy value as James was the primary back. Yeah, I got to keep telling my self as a Whali owner.

DaFreak
Geez, they had the first pick in the draft. This could have all been cleared up months ago. I am so glad I am not a Texan fan.
rai
Can't stand RBBC. I know most teams will give a BU some carries just to keep number one fresh, but IMO it sucks to say there is no number one RB. I have 2 of these problems M.Bell and Lundy and would gladly trade them just to be rid of the problem. It's not to say that these players don't score points, but you never know if/when. Last year I had M.Anderson and he ended up as a top-15 back, one game he had 3 TDs but if he had been used the more than 55% of the time he'd have been a stone cold stud. Well at least Texans are not a powerhouse so it's not like we are expecting much from them, but IMO if this keeps up there won't be one player on the Texans worth owning in FF. tonyr0802
Yup.....consistent winning is a problem for some... Why do we get so many of these responses? It simply baffles me that on a fantasy football message board we get responses like this that are meant to make somoene look stupid for wishing there were less RBBC teams in the NFL. Let me set this straight- we all recognize that for some NFL teams their best chance to win is to use a RBBC approach. We all know that in the NFL it makes most sense for to them to do it, because they care about the win, not the stats. However, in fantasy football we care about the stats. Teams using RBBC devalues players, and the more we see it the less valuable players there are available. This frustrates us in the fantasy community. Can we now stop abusing people for wishing there were less of these situations? The comment after all is meant to be applied to fantasy football, where these RBBC teams cause us many headaches. Not just some people, but all fantasy die-hards. It's not our fault though, it's a disease. Yeah... that's it... It's kind of like that really twisted thought you get when you pick up a backup running back on draft day, and you subconsciously hope for the starting running back to get hurt; when in reality you're hoping for the injury of another person. The more painful and devastating that injury is, the longer your backup RB will be the starter! It sounds so twisted, but like I said: It's a disease, we can't help it.
