Land Thief
Normally this would be a no-brainer, especially against the Raiders. But Heap has a sore back and is listed as questionable. I think he'll play but I can't be positive. So I put Heap on IR and picked up Desmond Clark for the Bears for the week. Right thing to do? I'm playing a good team this week and don't want to risk a gooseegg from mt TE position... So, yards & TD's: Heap (Q) vs Raiders Desmond Clark vs. Lions Thanks! BeeR
The thing is Clark could put up a goose egg even if he starts (or close to it). I don't think the Bears have had a TE worth a flip since Ditka for crying out loud. I'd keep close tabs and probably take my chances w/Heap unless it sounds like he's less than 50% chance to play, but that's me...you risk little IMO. Fatman
Bad idea...everything I've read has said that Heap is going to play. He's got a cake matchup, too.
Land Thief
Okay. I'll keep an eye on the injury reports. If Heap practices today, I'll activate him and drop Clark. Thanks.
