STL Fan
I've got Givens taking up space on my roster, which of these two guys should I pick up - who has the most upside in a scoring + limited performance - type league. (We don't get performance points unless a receiver gets 100 yards) Remember it's an 8-teamer, so please go easy on the "I wish I was in your league" comments. odog13
Thanks, nukes! I live in New Orleans and the local papers are saying great things about him. He's got more upside than Williams, who is probably more like a 3 catch 50 yard guy with an occasional touchdown. Plus Brees loves Colston, which is a plus. loyalboyd
Colston. But it no better recievers on the wire in a 8 man league?
STL Fan
i know the papers have been talking him up, it's good to hear that his QB is high on him, too. Thanks, odog!
scubasteeler
i know the papers have been talking him up, it's good to hear that his QB is high on him, too. Thanks, odog! Colston is a number 2, Williams is part of a three-wide set a lot of the time. GO Colston.
STL Fan
Colston. But it no better recievers on the wire in a 8 man league? This league has been around since 1993 (when we used to do it out of the newspaper) not much gets past these guys. Cotchery is already gone. Michael Jenkins? Grits and Shins
In an 8 team league you will never start either of those WRs as I assume all your other WRs are better.
vin
In my yahoo league Colston is listed as a WR/TE, I am starting him this week in my TE slot. If you have this ability in your league, go for it. Starting a 6'4" clear #2 receiver in your TE spot against the GB defense is solid this week. LooGie
you take Colston..right NOW!!! and like Vin said, you might get an extra TE on your roster. what the hell are you waiting for?
wildbluefan
I don't see why everybody is "jacked up " about a 7th round wide receiver ! WRs barely ever make a splash in thier first NFL year (with exception of Boldin and maybe Mike Clayton) Having said that I have drafted him in 2 of my leagues and hope to hell I am wrong about him !!!! darth8ball
I tend to agree here w/wildbluefan... I had Donte Stallworth last year and the problem was Joe Horn is as bad as a young Keyshawn. now put in the mix the fact that both Colston and Reggie(when split out, or not) will be fighting for touches which will be down this year due to Bush and Deuce running alot more this year than the Saints did last year. After just one week nothing is known in N.O. Michael Jenkins Reggie Williams Jenkins is a budding talent about to burst......however Atl is all about the running game Reggie Williams is about to step up big in Jax also and they will throw more. I would take Williams then Jenkins then Colston. GOOD LUCK Edited September 16, 2006 by darth8ball

Randall
Love Colston... I do too. Brees loved Gates and Colston is huge and a good target in the red zone.
