nmack29
My team is screwed. I drafted Trent Green as my starter and Aaron Brooks as my main backup with David Carr as my third because he was there late. I dropped Brooks and picked up Pennington. I was offered Kurt Warner in exchange for Brian Westbrook. We have to carry 3 QB, 4 RB, 4 WR, 2 TE, 2 Kicker, 2 Def - so I would have to give up a QB and he would have to give up a RB. I was thinking about offering Westbrook and Green for Warner and Fred Taylor. What do you think about this trade - would you recommend a different one? Obviously he isn't going to give up Rudi Johnson for Westbrook, but I think Taylor may be available. Not exactly reliable running backs for me either way. My team is as follows Green - Pennington - Carr Portis - Westbrook - Gore - Duckett Chad Johnson - D Mason - J Walker - Mi Clayton Crumpler - Franks Wilkins - Akers Carolina - San Diego His team Hasselbeck - Brees - Warner Rudi Johnson - Barlow - F Taylor - Maroney Randy Moss - Kennison - Stallworth - Burleson J Witten - Pollard Longwell - Scobee Seattle - Cincinnatti Thanks. Grits and Shins
Warner is great as long as he stays healthy ... when was the last time he was healthy the whole season? Westbrook and Taylor both have injury histories but Taylor has spent much more time on the sidelines due to injuries. Don't panic and make a trade you will regret. Teatime_Ninjas
Do you start 3 RBs or just 2? If you just start 2, I'd probably make that trade... Westy is good, but you need a QB after what happened to Green... you don't want to go through the season counting on Pennington and Carr. Portis's injury isn't going to keep him out for more than this week, so you have one solid back. Gore will put up good enough numbers to be your solid #2, and then F. Taylor just becomes your flex/#3. Now, if you start 3 RBs every week, then I would probably not make the trade, as you can't really count on Taylor being an every week player.
