Scorcher
I'm wondering if Holt ( a great player) just isn't going to have his usual year because of the change in the St. Louis offense. After San Fran, the going gets tough. What do you huddlers think. Should I or you try to make a trade?
RussMan
Trade for who? Holt is fine it's only been one week.
keggerz
so would 112 catches for 1280 yards be a good year for torry? Thats what 7/80(week 1 total) projects out to...so he didnt have any TDs no WR ever gets a TD/game
cliaz
It was only week one, relax. If after week 3 there is still a problem then start thinking about a trade
DMD
Well, Torry Holt had 169 pass targets last year and Chris Chambers had 164 targets in that same system. Bulger is a better WR than Chambers and Bulger is better than Frerotte, so no, I would not expect much of a drop-off. Now Holt is one of two wide out options on every play instead of one of four or five.

gilthorp
Kind of hard to follow up anything after reading the gospel of DMD, but this guy was slowed a bit by injury in the pre-season, and as far as I'm concerned, will be fine. I'm interested in finding out if Champ Bailey was on him 100% of the time. Bailey is one of the best CB's "early" in the league, before injuries get to him....always has been, and there's no reason to think that he has dropped off any. I see Holt tearing it up this week. The Wolf
Remember too that this is a new offense and that the starters did not get much playing time in preseason. It takes time to gel and as a Holt owner, I am confident he'll continue to be a top 3 receiver.
