Bork
Who do you take? Cotchery or Colston?
tachamp
Look Horn is done stick a fork in him, Bress likes the new guys Colston could be the sleeper of the year in the end. With L Coles the man in NYJ town all that is left over are scraps.
DelmarJintsFan
Hey, I basically have the same question - who's a better bet this year (I'm not in a keeper league). I'm totally torn on this. Every time I lean toward Cotchery, I see something about Colston. Here's what I'm considering: For Cotchery: --Pennington will throw more; Brees has good RBs to lean on --Teams will key on Coles leaving Cotchery open --Cotchery was targeted more than Colston in week 1 --Cotchery is a year 3 WR --Colston is a 7th round rookie For Colston: --Could act as #1 WR since Horn's best days are done --Might be Brees' safety valve, acting like Gates (this point alone is keeping him in contention) --Great matchup against GB this week Does this offer any insight? Post what you finally decide, I need help on this too! Edited September 16, 2006 by DelmarJintsFan
KUBJPO01
In keeper league, I'd say Colston has more upside w/ HOrn being on his last leg. For this year however, I think Cotchery b/c Jets will most likely be playing catch-up a lot and Coles will see plenty of doubles. In all honesty, you can't make this determination on one game, both may not catch another ball for 2 weeks.

I went with Colston, I felt that Cotchery has been trying to play for 3 years and just got his opportunity....I don't trust Pennington to stay healthy all season and am looking toward the future. I beleive Horn is in his last years with the Saints and Colston might (although a risk) really be the future #1 for them....we'll see, but I took Colston.
