Well they did go to the Fiesta Bowl last year, brought bach virtually all their superstars and are in the 2nd year under Weis, i'd say that is plenty to have them ranked #2. OSU is ranked #1 and lost EVERYONE on defense. This year i don't believe much if anything separates the top 15 teams. It goes to the old addage, any given saturday. This does do wonders for the strength of the Big 10 this season, so i'm happy about that, and if this is any indication of things to come, the OSU-Michigan game could be a National Championship game in itself. They didn't even get to 10 wins last season, and got into the Fiesta because they can sell tickets!! I give them that. Weis is a good coach, but superstars?? They have some good players, but none I would call superstars. They just started getting the recruits this year. As for OSU-Michigan, it should be a GOOD one! Maybe the winner of the Big 10 and SEC for the National Championship!

Quinn is a top 5 draft pick,Preseason Heisman winner pick and if you don't consider him a superstar your a foolish, foolish man.

GWPFFL BrianW
Notre Dame got to the Fiesta Bowl last year because they BARELY LOST vs USC. You might as well have called it a win for ND last year. Ohio State exposed this sorry defense in the fiesta bowl, and now Michigan is doing it even more. millerx
Why are we only hearing from you AFTER Michigan is rolling over them..... Sorry, but it doesn't matter when I said it...... OVERRATED is OVERRATED!! The fact that I just started posting at the Huddle doesn't make them any less OVERRATED! I can see where you might confuse the idea that I didn't make a prediction known as "kicking a team when they are down".....but honestly, 1) it would be false simply because I just started posting here, 2) it doesn't mean the are not OVERRATED just because I didn't say so before the game today. theprofessor
just had to state this opinion again! ND always has been and always will be overrated. It's because of their history, tradition and media coverage(NBC). I don't mind unless it keeps a more deserving team out of the BCS.
