Drop Duckett for Jacobs?

I drafted Portis in round 1 and picked up Duckett as a 4th RB. I also have Westbrook and Gore. Is it worth dropping Duckett and picking up Jacobs?

It looks like Jacobs may be good for 40 - 50 yds and a TD in limited action.

I may need to start him this week with Portis and Westbrook both nursing injuries.

Thanks,

well, I'd wait to get some more opinions, but considering westbrook's "injury" and the fact that Buckhalter looked promising in the first game (and the fact that you have westbrook) I'd probably pick him up over Jacobs, but I'd probably pick up Jacobs over buckhalter if you didn't have Westbrook.

I agree with this 100%. I like Jacobs more but you need to cuff Buckhalter considering Westbrooks injury history.

OK - handcuffing. Do I cuff Potris with the shoulder or Westbrook with the leg history? Buckhalter would be the man if Westbrook goes down, while Betts and Duckett would still share carries.

Did I just answer my own question?

Anyway - I like Jacobs more on a week in week out basis, but the cuffing idea is so that you don't lose out on a pickup if your stud gets hurt, right? I know it has gone both ways for me in the past. I have swooped in and picked up after an injury, and also lost out on backups in that scenario.

I will probably drop Duckett and pickup Buckhalter.

Thanks!!
