PackDog
I have Tiki starting at RB and need to set a 2nd. I have Portis, Betts, Addai & Benson. I can wait until game time to switch Betts/Portis otherwise by game time today I need to play one of those others. My thought is to chance Portis/Betts. Any other advise? ncpalehorse
Tough one. I'm struggling with the Portis situation as well. IMO, you can't risk putting up a goose egg, which is what could potentially happen if you start Portis. I have a feeling Portis will probably see some action, but to what extent? Also, that game figures to be a smashmouth defensive battle, so yards may be tough to come by anyway, which doesn't bode well for part time player Betts either. That leaves Benson vs. Addai. Personally, I would stay clear of Benson for now. It doesn't sound as if he is 100% and Jones figures to get the bulk of the carries. The Bears rush offense didn't get off to a great start either. I would probably go with Addai. Granted he is splitting carries, but his offense should move the ball up and down the field vs. Houston and he may be in position to score more than any of your other RBs. Given your options and respective team's matchups, I think Addai may be your "safest" play.
gd74
I would go with Addai...I see Indy trying to establish the running game early to gain some confidence after last weeks running game debacle
Duff
I w/go with Addai....even if Portis gets some touches Dallas D will keep him contained
