Longwell's TD pass

No, you don't really have a case. When Ryan Longwell had the ball in his hands, he was not longer the kicker. When he threw it, he became the quarterback. It was an offensive play ran with a different formation with players other than there starters...

Lets say the raiders and bucs were both kind of playing to a score of zero to zero... Aaron Brooks would eventually throw an interception that would probably get ran back for a touchdown... The second he threw the INT he became a defensive player, thus the raidas shutout would no longer be a shut out.

I hope this clears it up for you.

Thanks for the response. I understand it's a long shot but trying to do everything I can to get this win. I saw this on fanball which disputes the notion Longwell was the qb.

Longwell Ruling

You've seen the highlight by now. Ryan Longwell threw the Vikings' only touchdown—a game changing 16-yarder. Some of you might be inclined to put that throw into the Vikings' Team QB category, but you shouldn't. The quarterback on field goals is the holder, in this case, Chris Kluwe. When Kluwe lateralled back to Longwell, it's no different than if LaDainian Tomlinson had thrown a touchdown pass after getting a toss from Philip Rivers. In neither scenario should the touchdown be credited to the Team QB
