msmith379
I was just looking at Alex Smith's numbers right now and playing in the NFC West that is weak on Defense besides Seattle maybe like his numbers a lot better. Below are the numbers. Also I thought I might pick up Leftwich so I am between the two which is better. Thanks for the advice. Alex Smith 521 yds 2 TDs 0 INT 1 Sack 20 Fantasy Football points Leftwich 237 yds 1Tds 1 Ints 1 Sack 7yds rushing 1 Rush TD 13 FF Points - Only played one game so far. tonorator
would you drop grossman to get both or play the matchups with grossman and smith? i have a hard time with the grossman thing. i like his nice game, but he ain't going to throw 4 TDs a game and doesn't have to with that defense. i actually like lefty and smith to play the matchups, but i won't hold it against you if you want to keep the hot hand with rex and skip lefty. I like Smith over Carr mainly because of the number of sacks Carr gets.

I like Smith over Carr mainly because of the number of sacks Carr gets. i like carr over all of them. i think he has new confidence this season and the addtion of moulds is hugh. i know houston sucks, but there will be garbage time action, as there was with indy, allowing carr to put up some numbers. he helped me to victory this past weekend as i benched delhomme for him. with those choice, i go carr and smith and then play those matchups. grossman and leftwich do not excite me, but as i said, i would then put leftwich at 3 and grossman last. one man's opinion ... it is easy to argue this one since all these guys are in that mid-low tier. MustOfBeenDrunk
i would take Smith over Lefty not because he is that much better but because of match ups & injury concerns

SMW
My league gets negative points when the QB is sacked. Never heard of that. So if your defense was going against your QB, sacks would be a wash? That's pretty dumb. As for the original Q, i'd pick Smith over Leftwich.
