Derek2023
debating whether or not to pick Grossman up and drop Leinart....but with the injury prone, fumbling Warner at the helm of an offense with so many weapons I'm not quite sure which is the best move. Any input would be appreciated guys...thanks
Junkyard
In the same boat, and I'm holding him, which is even tougher with only a 14 man roster. But we're also allowed 3 keepers - Don't know if you're in a keeper league or not.
Coffeeman
Who's your #2 QB? Huge assumption here: Leinart is your #3 and you have a decent #2 already, right?? You MUST, but if you don't and still need a bye week filler, are you betting on Warner being hurt by then? Get Grossman if you can, unless your #2 is much better.... I have Warner, Bledsoe, and Leinart....was going to wait with Bledsoe to see how he performs over the next few weeks to give him the chop or not because I initially drafted him as my starter. But Grossman is becoming more and more enticing. What do you guys think?
Coffeeman
Would you consider Grossman instead of Bledsoe as your #2? If so its a toss up, as neither Bledsoe or RexG are studs yet they can be decent behind a great D. Both have decent - but not great - WRs in TGlenn and Muhammed, (TO doesn't count right now) respectively. Leinart vs. RG is tougher - its about betting on the timing of a Warner injury (when, not if) vs. current starter. Is this a keeper league? Then Leinart has more upside, with more weapons, but then RG has more upside than Bledsoe in that scenario too. Bottom line: Bledsoe has as much chance of being replaced by Romo as Warner does w/MattL. I'd say replace Bledsoe with RG and keep Leinart too, but thats just me... user454545
i am also holding on to leinart waiting for the inevitable warner injury (and hoping it is about 3-5 weeks out giving the rookie time to absorb the offense). I have been starting Rivers til then and while he has not won me any games (hasn't needed to), he has not lost me any games. we are only allowed 14 roster spots and i am 2-0 on the strength of my RBs and my first two WRs. I have been starting Rivers Next week i have a bye on TE and will need to drop a WR or Leinart (may drop Leftwhich depensing on how he does this week). it's a 12 team league and the best FA QB is Charlie Frye. in my spot, would you hold Leinart? Roster (performance scoring) QB (start 1) P. Rivers B. Leftwhich M. Leinart RB (start 2) T. Barber B. westbrook F. Gore B. Jacobs WR (start 3) R. Wayne D. Jackson I. Bruce M. Booker TE (start 1) H. Miller K (start 1) J. Wilkins Def (start 1) New England
