kwolf68
Im a HUGE Ronnie Brown fan, but this trade is a bit iffy. Even though Brown has had two very productive weeks, he is losing blockers seemingly by the day and Matt Jones is a young star on the rise. In your defense Taylor does appear to be running as well as he ever has...is on a great team so the potential for a big year is there, but there is always the risk of injury and if Taylor goes down I don't know if there is anything other than a RBBC waiting to replace him. Still, I think a Fred Taylor/Matt Jones package was quite interesting. Despite my affection for Brown (and I have him in my league) I would have probably made the trade with you as well, especially if I needed a solid receiver to stick into my lineup. Right now, Taylor = Brown ..right now. If Taylor returns to being fragile Fred (possible) then this trade will work out fine for you. dgrande
I understand why a lot of people like Ronnie Brown. I would too, if Mike Mularky wasn't his Offensive Coordinator. Maularky says, "We're gonna run the ball!", but he will abandon the run by the end of the Third Quarter every week. As an example: Last week Miami had 1st & goal inside the Buffalo 10. Mularky ran 3 pass plays. So much for commitment to the run.
