Lucky11
Pokerroom's new ad campaign: "Pokerroom: where pocket aces vs anything else is a horse race!" does participating in a play money ring game (or tourney for that matter) really do any good or make you a better poker player? i understand that it is for "entertainment purposes" and all, but almost every play money game i've been involved in goes something like this: Small Blind Big Blind call call call fold raise call call SB call BB call - flop - (it doesn't matter what it is) Bet call call call raise call fold fold re-raise re-raise all in all in call fold all in call and then someone is out, more than likely two people. not much stategery going on in play money games. and the same can be said for low limit games too, that's where i normally play. but with real money on the line, at least some people respect a raise every once in a while. The purpose of the play money games is to addict you to the sickness and then get you to send them your REAL money so they will be rich fokkers living the life of parasitic kings.
