Coffeeman
The whole country will tune in for the feel good story of reopening the Superdome and the Saints home opener vs. ATL. Am I a bad guy for hoping for what appears to be a lopsided win, just so my FF team gets a W? Or do I stay away and root for Bush/Brees and the rest of the 2-0 Saints to pull out an emotional win? Now before you hardasses just say I'm being too sentimental, I have friends in the NO area, and we have Huddler heroes like rajncajn there. They've suffered and overcome so much. I'm not joking when I say I'm torn. But.... I'm 1-1 now and need the W. Hass is my QB option vs. NYG, while Colts are my other D option vs. Jax, both games at home. Will DBranch be enuf for Hass to overcome the loss of another O-linemen and lack of TE ability? SA is hurt too! And does Vick run/throw wild on the overwhelmed Saints D? Both QBs are looking to put about 25 points in mys scoring system according to the Hud and other projections. Meanwhile, the ATL D has looked dominant, while IND is likely without Freeney this week vs a tough Jag team. BTW, I'm also going with a new WR3 this week, RWilliams for the Jags. Hate when I put my D vs. one of my skill position guys. Now you see all my dilemmas. What would YOU do?? kingfish247
start Vick and ATL D... Indy's D isn't what it was last year w/o a consistent run game eating up possession time and their free agency losses. ATL might have Abe AND Hartwell back. NO is second to last in FF pts allowed to QBs. Second only to HOU. in 5 games vs. NO... Vick has a very respectable 80 QB rating, avgs 2 total tds, and 60yds rushing. Vick ran wild in the past 2 weeks vs. Ds with much better talent in their front 7 than NO and that's not saying anything about NO's secondary which isn't good enough to pick up any slack. it's only FF. if you get the win and feel guilty, make a donation to a http://www.habitat-nola.org/ Edited September 21, 2006 by kingfish247
