juggernaut06
A guy in my league is offering me Donald Driver in exchange for Edge. 12 team keeper league. Start 1 QB and any combination of 6 at RB/WR/TE. 1 pt. per reception. 1 pt. per 15yds rushing. 1pt for every 15 yds rushing. At RB I have Edge, LT, Rudi, Tatum Bell and Kevin Barlow. My current WRs are Santana Moss, A. Bryant, D. Stallworth and Desmond Clark (TE). My typical starting lineup is Bulger, LT, Rudi, Edge, Stallworth, Bryant and S. Moss + a K and 3IDPs. I'm currently in1st place. Because of the reception pts. WR's tend to score lots of points in this league. Driver is the 22nd highest scoring player in our league this year, while Edge is the 66th. Arizona's O-line is horrible. I want to pull the trigger, but Edge has been with me in this league since 2002. I hate to lose him. We've won lots of money together. Should I remove the dork cork and dump Edge or remain loyal to my homie?
Bree22
Normally I would say no to the trade but being that you can start 6 WRs and no RBs then I can see Driver having more value than Edge this year. Driver should see 5-7 catches with 80yds. That is 13-15pts avg with a TD here and there. Edge will avg 80yds rush with 2 catches for 10yds. 13pts with a few TDs. Where the difference comes in is that Edge will never have a breakout game where Driver will. This is why I would like Driver over Edge.
