showtyme5
Hey guys, I'm heading out of town tonight and have to set my lineup for Sunday. Who should I start.....Laurence Maroney v. Denver or Deuce McAllister v. Atlanta?? It's a tough decision and I haven't heard anything on Corey Dillon.....does anybody know if he's going to play this week or if the injury is still bothering him? Let me know your thoughts. Thanks. SMW
I've heard Dillon will play. I'd go with Deuce. Saints should be amped up for their first home game.
Hanson Brothers
Deuce!
thehype
Personally, I always like to start my Monday night players. I'd go with McAllister at home on Monday night.

grassfeeder
I'm going to go against the grain and say Maroney - for a couple of reasons. NO can be as amped up as they want however that is not going to win them anything. Once the balls in play they've got to make plays and Atlanta is simply a much better team, esp. against the run this year. While Duece has had a decent year, ATL will have a target on him and Bush all game (one reason why I'm sitting Bush for the first time this year). Yes, Maroney does split time and all signs indicate that Dillon is OK. However, Maroney has been eating up yardage this year with every carry he gets. He's been getting more and more looks each week and I believe he'll see the end zone against Denver. Denver hasn't stopped anyone this year, at least on the ground. weebo
I would go with Maroney as well on this one... Yes, Denver has been poor against the run this year, but its only week 3, remember they were 2nd best against the run all last year...All that being said Maroney has a better chance in turning the corner and getting a 20 yrd scamper score.. Deuce has only been good for goaline scores and i dont think they will be that close the Falcons endzone for him to matter this game..
