Anybody still starting Bulger?

Recommended Posts

Bulger has killed me two straight weeks, lost by 3 and by 2 points and have played against McNabb and Vick who doubled up Bulger's points.

I also have Grossman, Leftwich, and Plummer. Would anyone esle play Leftwich against the Colts this week? Bulger is at the Cards, which you would think would be good. But Pace is out and the Rams' offense has been just short of bad.

1 point for 25 yards and 6 point TDs.

I didn't see this weeks game, but Leftwich didn't impress me against Dallas. That said, Bulger (yes, I'm an owner) has impressed me even less. I'd go with Leftwich because their offense seems to be clicking more right now, and will probably be forced to pass to keep up with the colts rather than relying solely on Fred.

Bulger, seems to have a great match up in the desert, but has underperformed recently against the cardinals vs what you'd expect.

I'd go with Leftwich.

I just dealt Bulger for Brady and Rhodes. Honestly I like Bulger and I like his schedule but simply put he isn't getting the job done. Maybe it's the new O, maybe it's the new Rams being a running team, but whatever it is his #'s aren't the same. I'd actually start Lefty. The Colts have allowed some decent passing #'s in both their games.

I agree with most people's perceptions. I don't think it's the offense. His throws have been off all preseason and season. There is nothing about the offense that makes a guy just miss his receivers consistently. If you throw an out and the receiver runs an in, then OK that's just not being comfortable with the offense. But when a guy is running a route you know and you miss him badly (as he has done consistently) there's something wrong.

I'm sitting him for Favre @DET this week. Both have good matchups so until Bulger puts something together I'm rolling with the old man.

I'd start Leftwich if you want to sit him.

I am doing the same thing....Favre (no Green, he will be chucking it vs weak Kittens secondary ! ) for Bulger, until BULGER can prove otherwise....GOOD LUCK to us ! :D

I haven't had a chance to watch either of St. Louis' games this season, but after losing my first two weeks with Bulger stinking it up, I went back and looked at the play-by-play to see what the hell happened. There sure were a lot of "incomplete pass to the right" and "incomplete pass to the left." The Rams are still putting the ball in the air, Bulger's just not hitting the throws. I'd love to hear anybody's insight into what's going on.

Meanwhile, I'm seriously considering starting Rex Grossman vs. Minn. this week over Bulger vs. [bleeping] AZ. :D

:D I am planning to play the matchups all season long with my 2 QBs. This is not only an interesting matchup but one which I'll face twice. I think that Bulger will have a good week, however since I have Holt and an injured Droughns who is facing Balty forcing me to use Norwood and Barber at back, I cannot put Bulger in with Holt, incase of a bad game it will hurt me twice. But I feel that Bulger will outperform Warner in this matchup. The Arizona defense is not that strong, and the Rams will be playing catch up.

Bulger will come around, even with the increased emphasis on the run, the Rams play in the NFC West and the chemistry in the passing game will shine through.

GOOD LUCK

I was toying with the idea of playing Kitna over Bulger but I just can't do it. I'm giving Bulger one more shot.

Arizona is playing w/o their best corner (who is actually pretty bad!)...another interesting point is that the roof will probably be closed out in Ariz., and Bulger indoors is usually a pretty safe play.

I don't see a monster game, but I wouldn't be shocked to see him go for 280 and 2 scores...after the last two crap weeks, I'll GLADLY take it! :D

Yeah, I guess if you don't play him against the Cardinals, when would you ever play him? But he was in a dome at home against the Broncos and stunk up the joint. They recovered a fumble on the 3 yard line and had to kick a FG, that is just not like the old Rams. Bulger had less than 100 yards passing and 0 TDs in the second half last week against the lowly 49ers in a game that they were behind, I just can not understand that bad of a performance in that situation. It is not like he has been playing the Steelers or the Jags, he had an excellent matchup last week and failed miserably. Holt only had 5 catches for 30 yards! Bulger is wrecking my team and I juct can't let him do it another week. I may regret it for jumping ship but I have no choice. He has to show me something before I ever play him again.

I'd start bulger this week. I think he will do well. BTW, it isn't the new coaches fault, bulger has always been a statue in the pocket and makes bad decisions.

Might do well this week, then sell high.

He may have been a statue bue before this season he has average 277 yds a game and almost 2 TDs a game. He has been no where near that this year to date.
