GoNads
Furrey vs. the terrible GB defense. Is he worth a start in a PPR league? My other options are R. Smith on the road vs NE and Michael Clayton at home vs Carolina.
yo mama
I'm starting Furrey this week over Rod Smith in my PPR league. He's been involved and is actually the 30th most productive WR in PPR formats so far, despite the fact that he hasn't scored... (yet). Mike Williams has been demoted and Az Hakim isn't fully integrated into the offense yet. So I think if you were ever going to start Furrey, this is decent week. Check this: - He's been targeted 14 times in the last two games, which puts him in the top 36 WRs in that regard; - he caught 11 of those passes for an astounding 78.57% reception ratio; - those 11 receptions actually tie him for 9th most for WRs; and - 5 receptions for 55 yards in Week 1, and 6 receptions for 67 yards in Week 2, show both consistency and a modest upward trend in his involvement; - no turnovers; - Green Bay's DEF is allowing the 3rd highest average passing yards per game (292). Given your other options, I say start Furrey.
vikings711
I would give Furrey a shot. Its not like Smith or Clayton are doing very much right now. They just have a more well known name.
