jetsman2806
Ok I know its only week 3 but I need someone to talk some sence into me before I do something stupid, Shaun Alexander has been KILLING ME!!!!! I am now 0-3 and my season is now on the line...... I wasted a #3 selection on Shaun. I really cannot sit and watch him run for 50 yrds a game. I know his start is rough but this is rediculous. How can I improve my team I am desperate for a win right now. QB -Jake Delhomme & Alex Smith RB -Shaun Alexander , Corey Dillon & Laurence Maroney WR-Roy Williams, Joe Horn,Troy Williamson,Greg Jennings & Mark Clayton TE- Antonio Gates K- (formerly Josh Scobee) D- New England Vanderjagt is available so I am going to pick him up from waivers on tuesday. I know I wont get value for Alexander so trading him is not a option. My Wrs seem to be the only part of my team performing do i trade one of them for a RB? I am open for any Ideas , like I said I am desperate I need to salvage my season.
Big Country
I'd be more inclined ot try shore up the QB position than the RB position. Yu have Alexander who is hopefully just having a slow start and you have two of the RBS from one of the top rushingteams so far.. too bad they arent just one RB right. THough, with the return of Smith, Delhomme should get improved numbers. It's too early to pull the ripcord on a guy like Alexander, and you realistically dont have the depth at WR to give up anyone of value... maybe try to trade Jennings off of his big game (assuming non-keeper league). Pair him with on of the NEw England backs for an RB improvement, or pair him with Delhomme for a QB improvement

darth8ball
First off keep Alexander and be patient. However in your running game both Dillon & Moroney is going to kill you. Maybe try to ride the TD catch of Roy Williams to combine him with Dillon for an improvement at running back. Or Michael Clayton and Dillon. Gates had a bye and at QB I don't think you need to panic. Delhomme has S. Smith back and Alex Smith plays in the NFC WEST(We Stop nobodys Throwing) division. But if you really are freakin out about your QBs, maybe offer Smith and the other receiver you don't dish in the other deal for a better QB. GOOD LUCK

GOOD LUCK this just keeps getting better and better Alexander out indefinatly. well at least I got the trade for Thomas Jones last night before news broke on the injury, his price would have sky rocketed.
