scuba chuck
See my LB crew in my signature. Okay, the following players are available in my league. We have a silent auction draft for players every week, and my LB crew is a little weaker than I was hoping at this stage (Barnett is not panning out to be great, and Thurman just got a DUI). Any thoughts on the strength of these guys for the remainder of the season? Angelo Crowell - Buf Ian Gold - Den Gerald Hayes - Ari Brian Simmons - Cin Others of interest: Shawn Barber - Phi Chris Draft - Car

Bump Simmons to the top, though, if Thurman is out for an extended period. Hate to say it, but it's a "wait and see" sort of thing. Barber and Draft have value. Draft will hold value if Morgan stays out. Barber's more of a fill-in. Edited September 25, 2006 by darin3

Adding Crowell feels more like musical chairs rather than an improvement. OTOH, Barber or Draft seem like someone to stash on my bench. How are my thoughts? Is Barber a former stud prior to his injury? I don't know his past. Just to emphasize, here's my current LB roster. I start 3 (required lineup: LB, DB, Flex, Flex) N Barnett, J Trotter, K Morrison, D Ryans, O Thurman I still have a love affair with Morrison over last season, and how can you not be infatuated with DeMeco. I would just like to shore up the third spot, and to have a long shot potential stud. Alternatively, I'm also comfortable with a strategy of building up LBs for trade value. Back to Simmons and. I've had Simmons in past seasons. He seems like a Kevin Jones type player. Edited September 26, 2006 by scuba chuck
