Gros Membres!
Here's the lowdown. I've been riding Warner and yesterday was a warning sign for me. He's got Atlanta coming up next and I would be surprised if he survives this game. Here' Warner's schedule: Sun 9/10 San Francisco W 34-27 Sun 9/17 at Seattle L 10-21 Sun 9/24 St. Louis L 14-16 Sun 10/1 at Atlanta 1:00 pm (yikes!) Sun 10/8 Kansas City 4:05 pm Mon 10/16 Chicago 8:30 pm ( ) Sun 10/22 at Oakland 4:15 pm Sun 10/29 at Green Bay 1:00 pm bye ( ) Sun 11/12 Dallas 4:15 pm Sun 11/19 Detroit 4:05 pm Sun 11/26 at Minnesota 1:00 pm Sun 12/3 at St. Louis 1:00 pm Sun 12/10 Seattle 4:05 pm ( ) Sun 12/17 Denver 4:05 pm Sun 12/24 at San Francisco 4:05 pm I think he could be worth holding onto as he does have a plethora of nice matchups still remaining. Here are our other options...Rivers (tough matchup w/ BAL this next week but does have some sweet stuff coming up in 6, 7, 8, 10, 15 (Tennessee, @San Francisco, @Kansas City, St. Louis, @Cincinnati, Kansas City) Frye is looking good and has been scoring a rushing TD every game so far but has an absolutely brutal schedule and nothing favorable during the fantasy playoffs. Kitna can't turn the Lions around but the last time Kitna played an entire season, he passed for just under 3,600 yards with 26 TDs (to 15 INTs) and earned a top 10 QB ranking. He looked strong in a losing cause - 342 for 2 TDs and an INT - but that was against Green Bay. His remaining schedule is: Sun 10/1 at St. Louis 4:05 pm ( ) Sun 10/8 at Minnesota 1:00 pm Sun 10/15 Buffalo 1:00 pm ( ) Sun 10/22 at NY Jets 1:00 pm ( ) bye Sun 11/5 Atlanta 1:00 pm ( ) Sun 11/12 San Francisco 1:00 pm ( ) Sun 11/19 at Arizona 4:05 pm ( ) Thu 11/23 Miami 12:30 pm ( ) Sun 12/3 at New England 1:00 pm ( ) Sun 12/10 Minnesota 1:00 pm Sun 12/17 at Green Bay 1:00 pm ( - and playoffs) Sun 12/24 Chicago 1:00 pm Sun 12/31 at Dallas A lot to consider here for a WW pickup but these are my choices. I am looking to drop McNair who has been consistent but I could use some more upside with one of these guys. I will be happy to answer any questions you have. Thanks! rew70
I think Kitna will throw more with a lackluster running game, but the schedule for Rivers sets up nice. I just don't think he'll need to throw much to beat those teams. I have to say Kitna, and I'm a Rivers owner. I'm in a similar predicament. Please see mine.
