cmutts
12 team league, scoring is 1 pt every 20 passing, 6 pt tds and no turnover penalties. I had been starting Warner but it appears he may be heading to the bench. If so, would you rather start Rivers at Baltimore or Leinart at Atlanta? Only other option woud be to try and grab Frye, Leftwich, Plummer or Johnson off waivers. thanks
Gros Membres!
Nothing definite has been stated with Warner, just that Green has been thinking about the lineup. If Warner doesn't get it together and at least display efficency against Atlanta (and ARI loses) I would expect to see sooner rather than Leinart. However, if you are choosing between a starter with weapons and a guy sitting on the bench in Arizona I would choose Rivers. Keep in mind this weeks matchup. If you need a start this week, try Rivers, he will have to throw the ball. Lineart would have to be named the starter before you would even think of considering him. I would be surprised if they made that move this early, but could happen. Also look for Frye to be a decent bye week filler with the right matchup, Frye gets some cheap rushing scores and will be playing from behind most of the time. cmutts
Per ESPN, looks like Leinart will start Sunday. TEMPE, Ariz. -- Barring a change of heart overnight, the Arizona Cardinals are expected to start Matt Leinart Sunday against the Falcons in Atlanta, team sources told ESPN's Chris Mortensen. Gros Membres!
How does this impact Fitz and Boldin? Their stock plummets. I think Rivers might be a better start. I am contemplating the same thing. I just picked up Leinart (dropped Kitna) and will pick up Rivers for his long-term value. He has a sweet stretch after BAL and PIT. Leinart could develop nicely but I'd stash him. And, who knows, Warner could be back after Leinart throws three ints and has 2 fumbles against an agressive ATL D.
