rajncajn
For those of you who would like to see it again or missed it the first time. I thought they did a fantastic job.

rajncajn
Try the link from here. I think you have to have Real Player for it to work though. I should have mentioned that before.
twiley
It worked. Does anyone have an actual link to the video? This was more of a slideshow with the music.

It's on there, click "Watch video from event" right under the top photo. It's the whole pregame "concert" show.

rajncajn
Some great videos down lower on that page. A great interview with The Edge on recovering the music in New Orleans as well as a cool video of him playing Vertigo with a New Orleans Jazz group. darin3
Nice that "big name" groups like U2 and Green Day were able to "help out", but I personally would have rather seen local products (minus Aaron Neville) perform. Maybe Cowboy Mouth? Sorry, skins...

darin3
Cowboy Mouth played outside before the dome opened. Yeah, heard that in the pre-game. Them and some other band, yeah? Rebirth? Something like that. Anyways, would have rather seen them on TV and "pimped" rather than U2 and Green Day, two bands that have absolutely nothing to do with the area. Considering all the work & attention U2, Edge especially, are giving to the region I think they are a very good choice. Plus since they and Green Day appeal to a much larger crowd it brings more exposure to the area by having them play. I thought it was a nice touch having the local brass musicians on the stage too. True enough. I really didn't know U2 (Edge) was doing so much. That's awesome.
