sdjeff
The SA owner offered this up to me yesterday. I have Morris as a handcuff for SA so that is a plus while I would wait for his return. The thing that is keeping me from pulling the trigger is that S Jackon has the Lions and Packers the next couple of weeks. The recievers in the deal are not that important in that Bruce is my 4th or 5th receiver and may only play 1-2 games as a bye week replacement. Scoring in my league is standard performance with .5 ppr. Thoughts anyone?
Land Thief
Pull the trigger. SJ has yet to find the endzone. The wideouts are a push. If you can get SA, I'd take that in a sec...
sdjeff
Thanks LT- So you think the short term pain outweights the long term pain huh?
rew70
I wouldn't do this. Look at the numbers. In a standard scoring system, SJax has gone for 13, 12 and 11 points for the last 3 weeks and he's still playing. SA has gone 5, 14 and 11 respectively and now he's out indefinitely. IMO I think it's clear you stay with SJax. He'll score eventually. SA won't score anytime soon on the sidelines.
Land Thief
He made good points but check out the newest Huddle update: Shaun Alexander - RB, Seattle Seahawks 9/27/2006 There is an outside chance that Seahawks RB Shaun Alexander will play on Sunday against the Bears despite learning on Monday that he has a very small crack in a bone on his left foot. Alexander's foot reportedly stopped hurting on Tuesday, a turn of events to which he credited the power of prayer. He will undergo additional tests today to learn if the crack has indeed healed. Huddle Up: Wonderful news if you're a fantasy owner whose title hopes were diminished by Alexander's injury, but the news that really matters will be the report made following Alexander's additional tests. Even if he doesn't play on Oct. 1 against the Bears, it seems likely that he'll miss fewer games than was originally expected. Stay tuned for an update when one becomes available later today. I say strike while the iron is hot and go get SA. Of course, either way it's a gamble, so you ultimately have to make your own choice. But if the guy who has SA now starts seeing some of these SA might play updates, he may rescind the offer and make it easy for you.
