Trade away Roy Williams for Fred Taylor?

Here are my current RB's and WR's

M Jones-Drew

L Johnson

J Norwood

K Jones

D Jackson

R Williams

J Cotchery

D Mason

The guy that owns Fred Taylor is offering him to me for Roy Williams. I tried countering with either Cothery or Mason, but he wouldn't bite. This is a 12 team standard performance + TD league, and we start 2 RB's and 2 WR's each week.

What do you think? Should I just stand pat, or should I take accept the offer?

See if he will offer better than Taylor or McAllister, or don't deal.

I wouldn't do it.

Deuce and Fred are not much of an upgrade over KJ if you are in a ppr league.

Roy to Cotchey or Mason is more of a downgrade at WR.

Just to use Duece or Fred as a bye week filler or matchup is not enough. Duece and Fred both share the backfield. roy is a true #1 wr. you would do better finding something on the WW when your bye weeks roll around.

I like the trade...Taylor for R. Williams. Taylor ran well against three tough defenses...Dallas, Pitt and Indy. We make fun of Fragile Fred, but Roy ain't exactly on Favre's heels to break any consecutive start streaks. Its a definite upgrade at RB without much of a drop at WR. Who would you rather rely on...Kevin Jones as your second RB, or Mason as your second WR?
