seabronc
I'm thinking of picking up Gradkowski in my dynasty... Yet here's why I'm second-guessing myself: I don't see him having much value this year. Either the guy puts up typical crap rookie QB numbers or he is replaced by a TBA veteran. Towards the end of this year, or next training camp, I think it is probably Simms' job again. Am I right? Or do you think if Gradk. looks decent, him and Simms battle it out in training camp? I believe he's a free agent at the end of the season. Gradkowski might not have a solid rookie campaign strictly because TB has some monster defenses on the schedule, but Gruden's confidence in him seemed quite high post-draft. He's the future there. I'd pick him up if you can afford to sit him.

Grits and Shins
They have always been more committed to him than they should have been. He's a horrible QB.
Jolly Rodgers
They have always been more committed to him than they should have been. He's a horrible QB. Man you really have it out for Simms. Did he steal your girlfriend in college or something? Anyways, Gruden is not committed to Simms at all. They resigned him to only a one year deal at the beginning of this season. If Gradkowski comes in and lights it up then I could see Gruden giving him the reigns to the ship for the long haul. However, I think the Bucs either draft a QB or spend some money on a top free agent at the end of the season. And a note on Simms.....Who actaully plays better with a ruptured spleen and internal bleeding??? Simms might have disappointed this season but he sure is a tough SOB in my book. MonkeyOne
Simms is in the middle of a one year contract and the rookie is second on the depth chart. With all due respect to Simms who I hope recovers soon, the club don't have any long term commitment and it appears to be Grads job to lose now. It always felt like this was Simms job to win a longer deal and it's probably out of his hands now.

I think to draft Simms was to be too committed to him. He has never been a good QB. Not in college, not in the NFL. The ONLY reason we are even having this discussion is because of his lineage. Without that lineage Chris is spending all his time at the beach on a surf board.
