rai
Little background, I'm 2-1 and just getting by with non-scoring players like SS, Tiki, Bush, Wayne etc.. I hope they will turn around. this OG has Fricken McNabb, Hasselback and Grossman and is a bit weak at RB. I tried to offer Bush or Addai for Hasselback since he can't use all his QBs, but he countered with Tiki or Chester for Hasselback.... My team C-Pep Lefty Tiki Chester Bush Addai SS Wayne Troy Williamson Gonzo Ben Wattson J.Brown Bears His team: Grossman Mcnabb Hasselback LJ Morris Henry Branch Stallworth JT Hous Vernon Whitten Rackers Browns My scoring is like this TDs 6 for all, plus 1 for 20 rush or Pass and 1 for 10 recieving yards. rai
So I have dreck at QB, and I could get top 5 QB for giving up Chester (top 10 RB). I could pretty much solve my QB problem, but then I'll be stuck with Tiki and Bush/Addai for my RBs.
Gros Membres!
I'd do Bush...you need Chester. Reggie just doesn't quite do it for me for a no-brainer starter. Is it a PPR? That might change things a bit. Addai is not to be depended on until he's officially named a starter.
Grits and Shins
You should dial 911 for all heart attacks
Joker
As long as passing TD's are worth 6 points and you get 1 point for 20 yards of passing, I would do it in an instant. Look at it this way. You are saying you get the exact same TD and yardage points for both QBs and RBs. Hasselback on the average throws for 3,439.25 yards a year and 21.75 TDs per year. I promise you 1 million dollars that Chester Taylor will get nowhere near those numbers. Seems like a no brainer to me.

I want to trade Bush, big time, but he won't give me Hasselback who is a top 6 point scorer in my league for Bush. I'd love to have Tiki/Chester for every week. But if I don't get a QB I'm in trouble also. Also Chester is not exactly scoring a ton, but I do like having a full time RB instead of RBBC Edited September 28, 2006 by rai
rai
Grits... could you at least say if this is a good or bad trade? I know you know your stuff, but if you don't bother to say anything then why do you respond at all? Edited September 28, 2006 by rai
Gros Membres!
I don't mind the Chester logic that he'll never score 21 touchdowns and have 3000 yards. Plus, I've never been a hugh Hass fan. Never has those big games when you need 'em most or when the matchup is right. His team usually defers to Alexander. Now he is hurt, but his schedule certainly isn't primed for a breakout with CHI this week. I'm not convinced about HASS is all I'm saying but maybe you are. What QBs are on your wire? Gros Membres!
Trade Bush...it's in the first line of what I said! Keep Chester. That's what I think. You may not like it but I think Hass is a mediocre QB who has had the luxury of having a pro-bowl RB to hand the ball off to. Do it if you want or don't come in here for advice. rai
I'm not convinced about HASS is all I'm saying but maybe you are. What QBs are on your wire? I'm playing this guy this week also tiki is on a by week, so me give up Chester this week I don't have a number one or number 2 RB. On the wire: Carr Fry Alex Kitna thats about it since the others are no better than what I have.
Gros Membres!
Just think you could be playing with Hass, Bush, and Addai this week. Sweet Jeebus. No thanks.
Gros Membres!
I'd take any of those wire guys for now...wait to see how things pan out. Pick up Frye, Kitna, or Carr could be nice pickups until you can get the MAX value out of your trade.

No thanks. good thinking, but Bush for Hasselback is OK you think? Or should I keep him on the back burner for this week and hope Hasselback does poorly against the bears then he has a by week, no wonder he wants to un-load him LOL? After all C-Pep is against Houston and they mae Brunell look like an all-pro last week. Edited September 28, 2006 by rai
Gros Membres!
Bush for Hass I could live with.
Joker
It is worth a try, but I think the other owner would have to be on crack to take that trade.
