Bababenny
I've been offered Andre Johnson for Stallworth and Rhodes. I don't need Rhodes as I'm ok at RB. I need to know if you guys think Johnson is an upgrade from the oft-injured Stallworth.

I need to know if you guys think Johnson is an upgrade from the oft-injured Stallworth. I would probably do it. Rhodes is going to lose his job to Addai here pretty soon. Stallworth has been fighting this same injury (hamstring) his whole career, however when healthy he has shown that he is definitely McNabb's go to guy.. Johnson has better "big play" ability, but he also has a higher risk of not getting any points for he is the #1 there, and will draw double coverage all day! Also, if this is a PPR league, then by all means do it. If not, then I'd be a little more hesitant..

It's not a PPR league...hence my dilemma. I can make arguements both ways and I need to get off the fence.
panthersfan
Stallworth is too injury-prone for me. Atleast you know Johnson should play just about every week. Stallworth is almost always on the Injury Report. I'd probably take it. Good Luck

What do you really have to lose? Rhodes value isn't that much right now, and he's going to be pretty much worthless as soon as Addai is named the starter. So you're pretty much trading #1 WR's. I personally like Johnson more than Stallworth, but Stallworth plays on a better team with a better o-line and a better QB. However here's where I make my decision. Houston has absolutely NO running game, and they will be playing from behind the rest of the season. What's that mean?? We all know.. More deep passes.. Stallworth has started out red hot, but I dont see his value getting much higher, and Rhodes value (unless an act of god) isnt going to increase by any means. Johnson is potentially a top 5 WR due to his big play ability, and how many times that team is going to pass.. I would pull the trigger..
