Anyone sitting Portis

The Jags are shutting down running games. Would you still start Portis or one of the following RB instead?

 

Kevin Jones is one of my starting RB

 

Need to start 2nd RB

 

Portis - Going up against good Def

 

Or

 

Foster - Playing NO but will he get the carries

 

Or

 

D Williams - Playing NO but will he get the carries over Foster

 

Or

 

Dom Rhodes - Will he lose carries this week Addai? Playing against the Jets

Portis is a lock to get more carries than any of those guys. This game figures to be close since Jax doesn't score a lot of points so the skins will be using the run often. Stick with Portis.

You answered your question within your question. Portis is not even on the injury report and is FINALLY healthy. Don't sit your STUDS!

Ok Ok... I'm starting Portis. I think I was over thinking and analyzing his matchup too much.

What about sitting Portis and playing Jordan and Gore?

 

Right now I am going with Jordan and Portis, but it sure is hard to sit Gore now. I have thought about all of the combos Gore and Portis too. I just can't decide.

I would go Gore / Portis

 

and for That Dude I would go Portis / Jones

 

 

 

I'm in the same situation. I have Porits, Gore, C. Taylor, and Dunn and I have thought about sitting Portis (we start 2rb and one flex) I don't like the fact that the Steelers only got something like 32yrds on rushing against that Jax D, but I am also usually a SYS kind of guy. who knows?
