Guest danvan76
Hey huddlers, I need some quick help. In a ten team keeper league I was offered SJax and Ravens for Addai, Gates and Falcons. I am not sure If i will use Sjax enough over my other RB's to make it worth giving up Gates. Roster is below, let me know what you think. Should I counter with Winslow, Addai and Falcons, or just stand pat. Thanks

The Ravens are a defense that scores like an O player.
KcinMan11358
Ravens>Falcons SJax is the man and can be traded later if you can't find room for him to start
lock_it_up
I'd do it. Winslow is looking good at the TE position and S.Jax would give you all kind of depth so could trade someone like J.Jones for another TE if needed. Ravens D is icing on the cake! tomfin2000
I agree with the other guys. I honestly don't think Addai will ever be anything special, you can afford to trade Gates since you have Winslow, and you're getting an upgrade at defense with the Ravens. There's no way you pass up this deal, even if you don't need Jackson right now. Edited September 30, 2006 by tomfin2000
Guest danvan76
Do you think that Winslow is going to hold up for this year, atleast? Seems like he is already having knee problems.
lock_it_up
He's a Soldier! But really, who knows. Haven't heard alot of details about his injury. I have him in 2 leagues. But I think he should be good to go.

That's a legitimate concern, but I think you have to take the risk. What TE's does he have on his roster? Can you amend the deal to get a solid backup out of him? Guest danvan76
Thats the one spot he is weak at. His only other TE is Dallas Clark. Also, this guy is in my division and his roster is loaded. It looks like this- Palmer LT LJ Reggie Wayne Chris Chamber Dallas Clark A kicker Bears - those are his starters. Does this trade make him unbeatable? Its a keeper league and hes been sitting on Palmer for two years and Had LJ on his bench for almost as long. I guess patience pays off. Guest danvan76
Any other thoughts are welcome. Everyone seems to be in favor of it. Not sure why I am hesitant.
