PythonPatrol
Hi all, Well I'm 4-5 and I am playing the guy this week who is a game ahead of me. If I win this week, we would both be 5-5, split head to head, but I would edge him out because of total points. So my line up is set even with Eli vs the Bears, so my two question marks are at kicker and Def/SpTeams. So I have played the Viking Def. but with their offense strugling the past 2 weeks should I drop them and pick up Carolina who are coming off a bye and play host to the Bucs on Monday night football. Aslo the Vikings Def might be missing some players via ROTO WORLD: 1. Vikings head coach Brad Childress confirmed Friday that LB Napoleon Harris (wrist) will not play in Week 10. 2. CB Fred Smoot reportedly may not return to the team until Saturday night following the death of his half-brother.At the very least Smoot is expected to miss the entire week of practice and the Vikings promoted CB Charles Gordon from the practice squad to give them some secondary depth. CB Cedric Griffin would replace him in the lineup. 3. Vikings DE Darrion Scott suffered a "Grade I" high ankle sprain Sunday. Scott wore a walking boot after the game and underwent an MRI Monday. Also I have Josh Brown as my kicker, but should I pick up a different one? Here are the top available Def/SpTeams and Kickers: Carney, John K NO Kasay, John K CAR Dawson, Phil K CLE Rayner, Dave K GB Hanson, Jason K DET Feely, Jay K NYG Nedney, Joe K SF Reed, Jeff K PIT Mare, Olindo K MIA Lindell, Rian K BUF Andersen, Morten K ATL Gostkowski, Stephen K NE Seahawks, Cardinals, Packers, Patriots, Bills, Raiders, Jets, DST Dolphins, Titans, 49ers, Buccaneers, Bengals, Lions, Rams, Panthers, Thanks in advance guys!!! dabuffbills
well it's always hard to tell how a kicker will do week in and week out, and they usually aren't the player that can make or break a game so I think you'll be alright in that area. On defense, the only team that really stands out on that list is the Patriots. I would be wary of starting Minnesota's D with all those injuries and Carolina's defense hasn't been outstanding this year.
joeyd524@msn.com
i agree with the kickers, hard to tell week to week but with defenses the first one to jump out at me was the pats..also how's sanfran on the road, maybe the lions
Maize N Blue Backer
fyi, lions D looked great against atlanta last week (i was there, they have a definate swagger)....they play well at home............
Joe knows Superbowls
I'd either stay with Brown or pick up the Detroit kicked. For Defense, I would take a shot with the Patriots. I just traded for them solely for this week.
tommyboy
I would Pick up the Panthers. They need a win and you never know if Smith will take a punt to the house... If Brett Farve gets hot it could turn into alot of points. I would keep Josh Brown or Jason Hanson.. Good Luck.........
PythonPatrol
Thanks guys. If I pick up the Panthers, do I drop Minn. or a skill player?? Also, the Pats are going to be without Rodney Harrison Edited November 11, 2006 by PythonPatrol

Also, the Pats are going to be without Rodney Harrison I would probably drop norwood, he doesn't have that much value unless dunn goes down with an injury
