AtomicCEO 4 Posted December 4, 2006 I don't know if you guys noticed, but it was fricking cold as hell, and nobody could hold onto the ball. Cutlers numbers mirrored Hasselbeck's for the first 3.5 quarters. It was not a good passing night because the ball was frozen. Sure that goofy halfassed pass that was intercepted for a TD was a rookie mistake... but at least it was an actual rookie mistake. When Jake made the exact same mistakes for the first 11 weeks, it wasn't because he was a rookie, and it wasn't teaching him anything. I can't wait to see what he looks like in non-miserable conditions. That wasn't any worse than Plummer, and I have hope that he can improve (unlike Jake). I have to give this guy at least six games before I start passing judgement. Benching Plummer for the rook was a tough move but the right move. Deal with it and hope he improves. Kind of looked like, um, errr, a rookie making his first start in a game in midseason of the NFL season playing against a division leader... I'd rather watch that than watch Plummer lead the team to the 5th/6th playoff seed and then watched DEN get crushed in the first round (again).
