The best part is bestbuy is offering free financing until 2010. Thanks to Kid Cid for his advice as it saved me at least $500. You cant go wrong with Sony, or Best Buys financing. Did you buy online? I went into the store and they took an extra $100 off if I agreed to let them tell my cable company I bought it. Since I was planning on gettint the HD package anyway I said hell yes. I dont know if they offer this deal where you are or not but you might want to look into it. A week or 2 ago they were offering a rebate on a directtv HD box if you ordered or upgraded your directtv service, not offering it now though. I did get $300 off the TV as it was only $1499 and you can't beat 3 years free financing. I did buy it right at the store as they only had 1 left so I went straight there and picked it up. I work 75 miles from home and to have it delivered involves taking a day off of work and they only deliver to my area on Wednesdays as well. I orignally was getting the 46" cuz they said they didn't have a 50", but when I got to the store I asked them again and they found 1 in the warehouse.
