Bogus Injuries to Cover Bad QB Play?

Call me crazy, but this Delhomme thumb injury is a little perplexing. When did he actually hurt it? The last pass against PHI on MNF was an INT (no injury), Tuesday was a non-contact day or day off, and then all of a sudden he's not practicing on Wednesday b/c of a ligament damage? :D

Same thing with Aaron Brooks at the beginning of the season. He has a terrible game against SD in Week 1 and he can be seen laughing on the sidelines after getting pulled in the second half. Next day: announced strained pectoral muscle - out 6+ weeks.

It just seems there might be a remote possibility coaches are making QB changes under the cover of injuries. I don't really believe it, but I thought I'd just throw out this "conspiracy theory" out there. :D

Brooks...now that's possible but i doubt it.

Jake hit his hand on someones helmet...i've seen the play a few times. And FWIW Jake is WAY better than Weinke so that would be a bigt stretch to see Fox do that.
