redbbe21
Assuming Tiki retires and Addai is the starter next year, who do you think would be the better keeper of these two. It's never too early to start thinking next year, is it?
dabuffbills
well it depends on who is the starter in Indy next year, but I really like Brandon Jacobs I think he will do a fine job as Tiki's replacement
DocNiner52
I don't think there will be any doubt that Addai will be the starter for Indy next year. While Jacobs is an intriquing prospect I'm not convinced he will be able to withstand the amount of carries a starting rb usually gets considering his size. While a case can be made for Jerome Bettis with his size as a starting back I don't think I'd keep Jacobs over Addai. Jacobs may very well be the starter in NY next year and he should be but I think they'll look to moniter his carries and use a smaller back to spell him. He is no doubt a beast when he's got the ball and taking on more carries that comes with a starting gig could wear him down,IMO. I personally think Addai has the better upside and will ultimately have a better career than Jacobs. Addai would be my keeper of the two if it were my choice.
