Ursa Majoris
I lost with Brees and LT today. Needless to say, Im venting right now about it. I was going to post a question about that, whether anyone with those two lost. Looks like you answered it. On a side note, I played three playoff games today, losing one to Brees and winning one against LT. The other is in the balance but I am sure glad to see the back of LT. What's funny is me and Sarge have been very competitive rivals and he was the team that stomped me in my fantasy playoff matchup. Knowing he cares a lot more about his Cowboys than his FF squads the Saints win probably took a lot of the fun out of that victory.

We both know in DW II, your team was superior to mine, and I got hot this week. Me winning probably gives Frazia a title, not me, now that you are out of it. In DW III, I had the top scoring team by far, but always seemed to get the weeks highest scoring team opposite me, and lost with Brees and LT. Lets just say, Id have rather lost to you in II, and won in III, as now I may be done in both next week. Thank good ness of multiple leagues, as Im still alive in 9 leagues for titles. QB's are a wash - romo & hasselbeck are manic-depressive while Brady is steady every week. you had a clear edge @ RB..... but a tough matchup for LJ. he had a clear edge @ WR IMO. I'd take Driver & Smith over Williams & Colston this year hands down. ....driver has been a freak'in point machine all year. If your RB's show up you win.... plain & simple. cre8tiff
I lost because McNair suddenly resembled a QB. , and Driver apparently drove to the game in in a Delorean powered by Mr.Fusion. My opponent is overjoyed at being dead last, yet knocking me out of the playoffs. Can't really prepare for something completely out of the ordinary to happen. Totally ticks me off, but hey, lots of worse things happened in the world yesterday than me losing to my buddies. Funny, the old "stud RB" theory doesn't really work for me.....in all my championships I had a WR dominant team with RB fill ins. My opponent had that same scenario and he is heading to the Bowl. Besides LT2 the Stud RB theory is dead in this day in age in the NFL....in my opinion.

Who'd you play against, Randall Cunningham in 1990, Jerry Rice in '89 and Priest circa 2001?
BearcatTom
Here's some salt. I made the playoffs with the following line up: Bulger, F. Taylor, Dunn, Wayne, R. Brown, T Glenn, Kasay, and Balt Def. Now that is one weak ass line up!! Ravens Def. carried me a lot of weeks!!! They are my 3rd highest scoring player behind Bulger and McNair. I like to call my team the Little Team that could!! Now due to injuries to Taylor and Dunn, I may have to start Morris and Dayne this week!!!! My week 16 starters could be Morris and Droughns!! That thought should give your chills!!!

That thought should give your chills!!! Well, I got the #2 seed and got a coveted bye. I finished as the 2nd highest scoring team in the league (see team below). The highest scoring team somehow didnt win its division and ended up the 4th seed. The 6th seed (with LT) "upset" the 3rd seed (who I would have crushed) so now I draw the league's best team in the semi's. He has Manning, Gore, Alexander, Wayne, Colston and Roy Williams. All of whom apparently have dream matchups. So Im pretty much toast. And you only get money for 1st place - 3rd place. So if I lose this week (as I project) I need to win in week 16 to avoid the dreaded 4th place finish that pays the same as 12th place. Arrrggghhhhhh. rajncajn
This is the team I lost to Sarge with. I sat Addai, Berrian & Javon Walker. Berrian had a good game, but not good enough to make a difference. On defense I sat Adalius Thomas who only scored 9, Roy Williams who only scored 7.5 & Kaesviharn who only scored 10.5 with Dexter Jackson back in the lineup. What a week for my team to pick to suck.
