Swashbucklers
Who is the better play this week, defensively: Giants vs. Eagles Rams @ Raiders Packers vs. Lions Broncos @ Cardinals Semifinals and can use all of the points I can get!! SLGRAF
I'd run with the Pack. Using defenses playing at home is a good idea, especially if the home team is in a cold-weather city, and the team coming in is used to playing in a dome. And, Jon Kitna has been a turnover machine lately.
hezagenius
yeah, the Pack looks like a good play this week.
slickvick
Do not use the Packers.Go with the proven defense in the Broncos.Yeah they gave up 48 but to the Chargers.Kitna will be able to throw on the Pack and he will have to with no KJ. SLGRAF
"Kitna will be able to throw on the Pack and he will have to with no KJ." If an average QB with a mediocre o-line is forced to throw alot, that usually translates to lots of sack and INT opportunities for the opposing defense. Swashbucklers
Thanks for the replies! I am leaning towards picking up the Packers. The Broncos defense has not been performing well over the last few weeks. Any other thoughts?
BigMike5562
I haven't looked at the stats closely, but it seems that decent AFC teams have had their way with poor NFC teams this year more often than not. Denver has the secondary to handle Arizona's receivers, and Edge has been a mess, so I think Denver is a solid play. I don't know that I could bring myself to start the Packers D after watching some of their performances this year against teams like the Jets.
