Tally
I need to pick one of these WR's to start along with Holt & Colston. Most of the season I have been flip flopping between Henry and Muhammed often making the wrong decison as both players can be incosistent. I'm leaning towards Henry on Mon night @ IND and I'm not seriously considering Copper, but he's on my roster so I listed him anyway. Standard scoring (no pts per recieption) Here are the matchups... DJ Hackett vs SF Henry @ IND Muhammed vs TAM Carter vs PIT Copper vs WASH Battle @ SEA Thanks in advance. yo mama
Can't rely on Copper till we know if Colston and/or Horn play. Even then, Henderson could get first shot. Henry is a real iffy option. Saw a quote from Chad Johnson earlier today that intimated the Bengals will run the ball a lot against the Colts, which means Henry would be a real iffy play. Though, a shoot-out is certainly possible and he could get a lucky TD in that case... especially if Housh's back acts up (though he says he'll play). Carter is interesting, as PIT's pass defense is nothing special and Weinke targeted Carter last week. But I wouldn't play him if Delhomme starts. Battle hasn't been anything special this year, but at least Seattle's pass defense is beatable the my Niners will likely be playing from behind. Muhammed is the probably the safest choice, as he is the most important WR to his team. I'd drop him in your line up for now and just see how the rest of the week develops. The concern here is that the Bears might get a big lead, then quit passing the ball.
Easy n Dirty
I like Muhammad out of that bunch - he's a WR1 on his team, whereas henry and Carter are argubaly WR3s on their respective teams. Battle has only exceeded 50 yards once in his last 8 games, and only twice all year, pretty easy to toss him out IMO. And Copper is maybe the 4th receiver on his team. Gimme' Moosh. pseudolefty
Tough choice (Mush vs. TB or Henry vs. Indy). Although Mush is arguably a #1 WR (I actually prefer Berrian, when healthy), I like Henry's explosivness and upside more in a game where a lot of points are going to be scored. Sometimes the winds in Chicago can be tricky late in the season, and if you look at Mush's better games, they seem to be on the road for whatever reason (see stat link and Hi Receiving column). TB has a terrible offense, so the Bears won't be pushed to score a lot of points and may be content staying on the ground and letting Hester and the Bears D win the game. On the flip side, Indy's going to put up some points on Cincy's D. Peyton's going to come out firing and with the MNF atmosphere, and home crowd, I have a gut feeling this is going to be a points bonanza and I would want in on some of that action, even if Henry is just a periphery player. He may not get a lot of looks, but the ones he gets will be opportunities for big points.

Perchoutofwater
I'd go with either Henry or Muhammed, probably Muhammed. While I think against most defenses Henry has more upside, INDY's D is so horrible against the run right now, I just don't see CIN passing that much. Plus INDY has the #2 passing defense when looking at yardage, and the #7 when looking at TD's. Carter is a flash in the pan and honeslty not deserving of a roster spot. He has only had 3 games where he either had more than 50 yards or a TD. Last week will not repeat it'self. I know Colston is back, I'm not sure what the status is on Horn, but if Horn is back I doubt that Copper will see much action as Henderson is really the bettter #3 in NO. Copper has only had multiple catches in two games all season. Battle has only had two games with more than 50 yards recieving, and has only scored in two games. He is a horrible option.
