Start Hass or Grossman?

Thinking about benching Hass due to weather & no D Jax, but w/my luck, Grossman will have another stinker. :D

D-Jack's absence isn't the real concern: it's the weather. If the weather is as bad as some are predicting, you kind of have to go with Grossman. And at least the match up is good, so don't beat yourself up if that's what ya gotta do.

Thursday night's game between the Seahawks and 49ers is expected to be played under very windy conditions in Seattle.

Forecasts predict gusts over 70 miles per hour, which could mean a lot of carries for RBs Frank Gore and Shaun Alexander. "Wind changes a lot of stuff, if it's real, real windy," coach Mike Holmgren said. "Then it's a little more problematic when it comes to throwing the ball, or kicking it. That's the worst. That's worse than snow or rain."

I had asked folks opinions on starting Hasselbeck vs. Kitna, and almost everybody said to stick with Hasselbeck. But I think the combination of no DJax, lousy weather making it harder to throw, and (possibly most importantly) lousy weather affecting the play calling REALLY will impact the Seahawks.

Grossman has a nice matchup, I think I'd give him the shot.
