theeohiostate
CHICAGO has went this entire game ...............with NO penalties and no turnovers. what does that say?
gilthorp
Turnovers the story...Saints couldn't hold on early, nor late.
theeohiostate
Can't knock the Bears too much. They certainly look the best in the NFC. Home field has 99% to do with that. This game in New Orleans would have turned out MUCH different.
Todd1
Seriously, the Pats GOTTA beat the Bears 46-10 in the Super Bowl. The irony would just be too good. Oh, with Vrabel or Seymour running in for a score! We are the Bears Shufflin' Crew Shufflin' on down, doin' it for you. We're so bad we know we're good. Blowin' your mind like we knew we would. Chavez
Turnovers the story...Saints couldn't hold on early, nor late. Yeah. The Saints really have no excuse - the weather was fine.

Jimmy Neutron
Can't knock the Bears too much. They certainly look the best in the NFC. They do show glimpses of greatness, but they haven't put a whole game together for weeks. They've run hot and cold today too. It'd be nice to have two teams firing on all cylinders going into the SB. Doc Holliday
Home field has 99% to do with that. This game in New Orleans would have turned out MUCH different. Possibly. I can't see the Saints even beating them there though. maybe within a touchdown.
Chavez
Of course, the Saints DO have the offense to make up 18 pts in <9 minutes. I'm not saying they WILL, just that it isn't that insane.
bushwacked
They certainly look the best in the NFC. I really don't know about that. I think the talent gap in the NFC playoff teams was very minimal. You can't expect to keep a ballgame close when you lose the turnover battle by 4. gilthorp
CHICAGO has went this entire game ...............with NO penalties and no turnovers. what does that say? it means home cooking and that the league wanted Chicago in the Super Bowl...doesn't it? You can't expect to keep a ballgame close when you lose the turnover battle by 4. I think the Bears are the only NFC team that if stuck in the AFC would of made the playoffs.I think the difference is more than minimal between them and the rest of the NFC.this is the single worst year I have ever seen a conference. That being said. the Bears defense is awesome and I think are proving it this game.

Menudo
Pretty much. I don't have anything against CHI - I just don't think they're good enough to be there. They're very eratic on both sides of the ball and manage to win. More proof that the NFC sucks. I completely agree that the NFC isn't as strong as the AFC this year. The numbers certainly support that. However, what is great about the Super Bowl is it's just one game. The Bears have shown flashes of greatness throughout the year. Regardless of who they play, the Patriots or Colts, if they bring there 'A' game, they can win the Super Bowl. Will they be favored, hell no. Do I think they'll win, no. However, they are capable. Congrats to the Bears !!!!
Chavez
it means home cooking and that the league wanted Chicago in the Super Bowl...doesn't it? More likely it means Lovie Smith had his team better prepared than Sean Payton had his.

Menudo
Although it means very little right now, as the announcers are saying now, what a season for the New Orleans Saints. One of the best turnarounds in one season that I can remember seeing.
Doc Holliday
Awesome is a strech, IMHO. How else did they win so many games and get to the SB? It sure was not the offense.
TimC
Why didn't you say something earlier! What quarter is it in? Chavez was leading 17-13 in the 4th quarter until Puddy called in Triple A to pull out the win.
