Big F'n Dave
...maybe. Some of you know I sold my meat and seafood market a little over a year ago. Kicked back and took it easy for a few months (got my handicap down to a five ) and then started pounding the pavement. Turned out the job market around my little town sucks ass. Been working a temporary gig at the area's biggest employer (ask polksalet) for about five months and it looks like I'm about to get on permanent. Not necessarily my life's ambition, but it's nice to have my foot in the door with a big company. And the permanent pay is about double what I was making with the temp gig. I should hear something definite tomorrow. Good vibes would definitely be appreciated. :fingerscrossed:

I loved working in the seafood department at Safeway. That was one of those jobs I had during the army/college days that was just fun. Granted you smelled like fish at the end of the day but I still loved it a lot.

I am also happy I will never hear you gripe about emissions and deforestation and global warming, never, ever, ever, never, again. Union or in the yard?
