Big Score 1
I always thougt "soft" was more the aligator armed receiver fearing a hit BEFORE the catch, a WR who disapears TOTALLY against rough Defenses. TVH has nailed it here. Couldn't have said it better myself & 100% agree with TVH's definition of a "soft" WR. In no way shape or form, can Harrison ever be confused with the likes of Stinkston, the epitome of a "soft" WR. Oh! And Peter King is an idiot. Bill Swerski
He's a top 2 WR all time in my book. Has Marvin dominated the position in the same way that Alworth and Largent did? I'm not sure that he has. It'll be interesting to see what Marvin does over the next four or five years, but I think it's a real stretch to say that he's the second-best ever at this point. I see it all the time with local beat reporters for the Sabres and Bills. Some are biased, spiteful, grudge holding losers. :coughJayMariotticough:
justin
Peter King is NOT an idiot. He is some fat out of shape dude, who sits around and talks football all day even though he's never played it. However, he gets paid a lot of money to do it and attends any football game he wants (including Super Bowl). All that being said, Marvin is a great WR who is one of the best in the league, but a little soft (as most WR's are).

It is, but I think it's players who go down or out of bounds without challenging defenders too. You don't have to take the hit, but I'm referring to players who go down immediately.
