jaxfactor 0 Posted March 11, 2007 The Mid-West is fuggin Brutal Well, if you're gonna defend your NC, what better way to do it.
broncosn05 0 Posted March 11, 2007 UCLA had a weak end of season. They're my pick for a surprise early exit.
PantherDave 0 Posted March 11, 2007 Very tough #2 for UNC there B.
billay 6 Posted March 11, 2007 As a Heel Fan, I have to say I like the East bracket. GTown, Texas, Washington State.
billay 6 Posted March 11, 2007 Very tough #2 for UNC there B. I think I would have taken GTown over UCLA or Wisconsin.
billay 6 Posted March 11, 2007 UVA is a weak 4 seed.
billay 6 Posted March 11, 2007 (edited) And the ACC gets 7 bids. FSU on the outside looking in for the second year in a row. Edited March 11, 2007 by billay
PantherDave 0 Posted March 11, 2007 Not bad postseason for the ACC as it looks like 10 total outta 12 team 7 NCAA 3 NIT Very Strong for the ACC.
isleseeya 124 Posted March 11, 2007 No drexel and no 'cuse as juist stated by the commentators ...I thought both would get in
isleseeya 124 Posted March 11, 2007 I thought air force may have gotten in as well
PantherDave 0 Posted March 11, 2007 I don't think Dook gets out of the 1st weekend.
jaxfactor 0 Posted March 11, 2007 I think I would have taken GTown over UCLA or Wisconsin. Still pretty brutal bracket as well as Midwest
PantherDave 0 Posted March 11, 2007 (edited) The Nit Pick selection show is 9 ET on ESPN2. Also, the NIT has the potential with accepted invitations to be a very nice feild of 32 this year. Edited March 11, 2007 by PantherDave
montster 61 Posted March 11, 2007 So why didn't OSU get the #1 Midwest and Florida #1 South? Weird. my guess is that florida is playing (relatively) close to home in new orleans, a midwest bracket site, while ohio state is in lexington, which is in the south bracket. gilthorp 1,089 Posted March 11, 2007 My Illini lucked out...one and done methinks.
broncosn05 0 Posted March 11, 2007 I'm not listening to these "analysts" this year. Anyone got a link for a match up filled bracket.
MikesVikes 142 Posted March 11, 2007 So why didn't OSU get the #1 Midwest and Florida #1 South? Weird. They said that they'd put the #1 seeds close to home for the first round. Now OSU will play in Lexington and Florida will play in New Orleans.
MikesVikes 142 Posted March 11, 2007 No drexel and no 'cuse as juist stated by the commentators ...I thought both would get in The CBS crew didn't show them getting screwed over on live television.
jaxfactor 0 Posted March 11, 2007 Upon further review, I don't think Florida has it as tough until they get into the bottom half with Oregon and Wiscy. The Tar Heels have a rough road for sure.
wildcat2334 1 Posted March 12, 2007 UCLA had a weak end of season. They're my pick for a surprise early exit. Right............................you obviously haven't watched them play. They are a #1 seed that took the Pac 10 tourney off. They are a lock for sweet 16, and should be in the Elite 8 without much trouble. Very surprised at Syracuse, and Air Force getting snubbed . johnsonk2 0 Posted March 12, 2007 UVA is a weak 4 seed. Can't really argue against your point, but none the less...we'll take it. I guess having your AD on the selection committee does help out after all. Hopefully we can right the ship at just the right time!
Timmypg 5 Posted March 12, 2007 Florida went to the MidWest while OSU went South because they set up a 1 vs 2 championship. If Florida went South they'd play #2 UNC in the final four. I can't believe OSU was #3 overall & not #1.
whoopazz 1 Posted March 12, 2007 What the flip...I'm speechless
TimC 18 Posted March 12, 2007 Duke had best watch out for VCU. They can play and won't be afraid of the Duke mystique. I love UVa but can't figure out that #4 seed at all. No way they deserve that.
