Saving a word document as a jpeg or similar file.

Recommended Posts

I'm going to start an eBay auction and one of the items I need to display is currently a Word document. I believe that in order to include it as a pic in the auction it will need to be converted to a different file type. Is there a way to do so or am I going to have to scan it in?

Thanks

You can save it as a PDF from "Print..." command, but I doubt you can upload PDFs to eBay.

You can scan it. You can also take a screenshot.

You could try just hitting "Print Screen" on your key board and take a picture of whatever is showing on your monitor.

Just a quick & dirty way. I'm sure there are better methods.

you can save your word doc. as a pdf via MSoffice , then use pdf to image converter 2.1 to convert to jpeg and a host of other formats, only takes a second to do.

I think that you need document conversion software.

I bet that you can find a freeware version somewhere.

Or save the paper and just take a photo of your monitor. :D

Thanks guys. I just realized that I'm going to have to either scan or take a pic of it as there must be a signature on the document according to eBay, so I'm going to receive a hardcopy fax and not a Word document afterall. :D

is the word document text only, embedded image(s) only, or a combination of both? the answer will determine your best course of action.
