Well, funny story here - was going to watch on simulcast out of keeneland. It's the 3rd race that matters. In my head, my buddy's horse was the 3. So the 2nd race goes off (won a few bucks on that one actually) and finishes - I go to the little machine, put in my winning ticket and a voucher tick, and have $5.20 - figure I'll just throw $5 right now on my friends horse to win, and do my real betting after I look into it. $5 on the 3 horse to win Go back to my little spot in the sun, start looking over things....and realize my friends horse is the 2. End up betting the 2 across, and a 2/1, 2/8 and 2/1/8 Final outcome.....3 7 2 The 3 winning paid for the whole day at the track (for a split second thought "hell, broke even - i'll just do that every day" then remembered 'oh yea, i spend $150 a day before I take my first breath'" Edited April 20, 2007 by xMRogers Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
