I played High School football against Drew Stanton

Recommended Posts

Excellent pickup by the Detroit Lions, IMO. :D

:tup: I remember Stanton as having the HUGHEST lips of anyone I've ever seen. It appears he grew into them, but back during my freshment year of high school I think he helped beat our team 56 to 17... something like that. :D

He's a hugh tool in person, but does have some quality quarterback skills. The Lions might have just filled the QB position of the future, however, it'll probably take a year or two before Stanton should be put into the starting role.

He will be average at best. Not a good pick IMO.

No, bad pick. A lot of defense they should have taken instead.

Yeah, I think every NFL player dominates in High School.

No kidding. If a kid didn't dominate in HS, it's doubtful he made D-1 college ball, much less the NFL.

:D My cousin played against Charles Rogers in the MI HS playoffs, and they held him to one catch.*

* - for an 80 yd td.
