  1. 1. Do you turn the valve on the propane tank off after every use?

    • Yes, I don't know why.

    • No, the grill's valves work just fine, no need to turn it off at the tank too.

you?

note: this is for gas grill users, hence the thread title. I don't care if you use a big green momo or buy $20 charred mammoth bones to grill on.

And yet I'll still comment...charcoal tastes better. Otherwise, use your oven.

I turn it off every time. I left it on once and almost blew up my girlfriend when she went to light it.

anyone ever forget to open the top and try to light the grill :D

happened to me twice when I was around 15yo...back when you had to stick a match under the thing to light it

...knocked me on my ass and burned the hair off my hand up to my wrist....well i learned cause the next time I used my other hand...yeah burned that hair off too....now i NEVER FORGET....oh and I turn it off at the valve

I turn it off for sure because I'm paranoid like that.

At my new house (8 mos or so) I now have birds trying to build a nest in the grill. Never seen this before. This of course is when I forgot to put the cover on.
